GB News Presenters 2026: The Full List, Their Shows and Who Is On Air Most

GB News presenters number 32 on the channel’s own list in September 2026, but only 23 of them had a live show in the schedule for the week of 21 September. We counted every billed hour on the official schedule to see who actually carries the channel. The answer tells you more about GB News than the presenter page does: the presenters with the most airtime broadcast from Washington, and weekday prime time belongs to politicians.

In short

  • The list: GB News names 32 presenters. In the week of 21 to 27 September, 23 of them were billed on 147 hours of live TV.
  • Most on air: Ben Leo and Bev Turner, with 21 live hours each from Washington, midnight to 3am UK time, every night.
  • Prime time: all 10 weekday hours between 7pm and 9pm went to politicians or a recent election candidate, and six of those hours to Reform UK figures.

The weekend shows The Weekend and The Saturday Five were billed without named hosts.

Who is on air most?

Ben Leo and Bev Turner were billed for 21 live hours each in the week of 21 September 2026, more than any other GB News presenter

The channel ran 147 hours of live programmes that week and 21 hours of replays. Counting each co-host in full, Ben Leo and Bev Turner lead with 21 hours each, because The Late Show Live runs every night from Washington. Ellie Costello is next on 17.5 hours, as she co-hosts breakfast on all five weekdays. Four presenters follow on 15 hours: Tom Harwood, Emily Carver, Martin Daubney and Patrick Christys.

The ranking is not what most viewers would guess. The two most-aired presenters are on screen while most of Britain is asleep. That is one reason people still search “is Bev Turner moving to America?” a year after her move. In other words, the channel’s biggest block of live airtime is aimed at the US story, not the UK evening audience.

One caution: the schedule shows who is billed, not who appears. Eamonn Holmes is still billed on Monday to Wednesday breakfasts, but he has not been reported back on air since a stroke in April 2026. His last public update, in June, said his focus was “on making a full recovery”.

Who presents GB News in prime time?

Between 7pm and 9pm on weekdays, every one of the 10 live hours went to a politician or a recent candidate:

Slot Presenter Political role
Mon to Thu, 7pm Nigel Farage Reform UK leader, MP for Clacton
Mon to Thu, 8pm Jacob Rees-Mogg Former Conservative MP and minister
Fri, 7pm Lee Anderson Reform UK MP for Ashfield
Fri, 8pm Matt Goodwin Reform UK candidate, Gorton and Denton by-election, February 2026

Six of those 10 hours went to Reform UK figures. Farage returned to his 7pm slot on 15 September after about six months away, according to Guido Fawkes. Across the whole week, shows hosted by current or former politicians and candidates made up 24.5 of the 139 live hours with a named host, about 18%.

This format is legal because of how the rules are written. In February 2025 the High Court found that Ofcom had acted unlawfully in two rulings on Rees-Mogg’s programme. In October 2025 Ofcom decided not to change its rule on politicians presenting news, and updated its guidance instead. Politicians still cannot read the news, but they can host current affairs shows.

GB News female presenters

Of the 32 names on the channel’s list, 11 are women: Michelle Dewberry, Nana Akua, Anne Diamond, Bev Turner, Camilla Tominey, Gloria De Piero, Emily Carver, Olivia Utley, Ellie Costello, Miriam Cates and Dawn Neesom. That is 34% of the list, but women took 41% of the billed presenter hours that week, mostly thanks to breakfast, late morning, early afternoon and Washington.

Search demand runs the other way. Among the 60 most-searched phrases about GB News presenters in the UK, those that include “female” or “women” add up to about 6,090 searches a month. Those that include “male” or “men” add up to about 1,480. That is roughly four to one. Weekday evenings are the exception to the balance on screen: Michelle Dewberry at 6pm is the only woman hosting between 6pm and midnight.

Which GB News presenters have left?

Searches for “GB News presenters leaving” run at about 1,500 a month. These are the best-documented exits, drawn from Press Gazette and Wikipedia:

Presenter Left What happened
Andrew Neil 2021 Founding chairman and lead presenter; resigned three months after launch
Mark Steyn 2023 Left in a dispute over liability for Ofcom fines
Laurence Fox 2023 Dismissed after comments about a journalist
Calvin Robinson 2023 Dismissed after backing Fox
Dan Wootton 2024 Suspended in 2023 and did not return
Mark Dolan Dec 2024 Contract ended in a schedule change
Isabel Webster Dec 2024 Left breakfast; no longer on the presenter list
Neil Oliver 2024 TV show ended; still makes online videos for the channel

Andrew Doyle stepped down as host of Free Speech Nation in December 2024 and was replaced by Josh Howie; he stayed on as a contributor.

Is Bev Turner moving to America?

She already has. Since September 2025 Bev Turner has co-hosted The Late Show Live from Washington with Ben Leo. According to his Wikipedia entry, Leo became GB News’ chief US correspondent in January 2026. The move was part of the channel’s US expansion announced in August 2025. The same reshuffle created Alex Armstrong’s weekend evening show and brought Miriam Cates onto Britain’s Newsroom.

Who do people search for most?

Here the order changes again. Using Ahrefs UK data (12-month average), the most-searched names are established stars or politicians: Eamonn Holmes (70,000 a month), Matt Goodwin (30,000) and Miriam Cates (29,000). The most-searched presenter who made their name at GB News is Patrick Christys, on 18,000. Ellie Costello, Camilla Tominey, Michelle Dewberry and Bev Turner each sit between 13,000 and 16,000.

Alex Armstrong is the clearest case of a presenter made by the channel. Searches for “Alex Armstrong GB News” (11,000 a month) outnumber searches for his name alone (2,000) by more than five to one. Most people only look him up with the channel’s name attached.

Our verdict: the presenter page is a directory, but the schedule is the real editorial choice. On current billing, GB News spends its most valuable weekday evening hours on politicians, and its longest live block on America. If you want to judge the channel, look at who fills 7pm to 9pm, not at who appears on the list.

How we checked

On 28 September we read the official GB News schedule for 21 to 27 September 2026 and counted every programme marked live. Each co-host was credited with the full length of the show. Replays were left out. The presenter list comes from the channel’s own presenters section. Political roles come from Wikipedia and the MPs’ records; departures come from Press Gazette and Wikipedia; search figures come from Ahrefs UK data for September 2026. The schedule shows who is billed, not who actually appeared, so a stand-in can change the picture on any day. We have no commercial relationship with GB News or any party. If you spot an error, tell us through our contact page and we will correct it with a dated note.
